“The challenge of this book is to extend the awareness of the Chernobyl disaster. It insists on the need to think, to signify, to symbolise, however unrepresentable, the consciousness that this event has fragmented. In order to open the way to a way of life more in tune with the environment. It is the challenge of trying to think the unthinkable, to represent the unrepresentable.
