Michel Poivert, Bruno Delamain, Claudia ImbertReplay SCAU Architecture
In 1997, the architectural firm SCAU delivered an office building on the edge of the Paris ring road. Twenty years later, it was commissioned to completely refurbish the building. This book bears witness to a new kind of architectural practice: an architectural practice that rehabilitates its own work as part of a research approach to issues of reuse and memory. The reuse project, which consisted of breaking the old façade into pieces to recompose the floor of the new building, seeks to respond to the questions and challenges posed by architecture in the Anthropocene era.
