The first issue of RSVP’s IN-SIDE collection, focusing on the sculptor Marit Kathriner.

Marit Kathriner’s work invites us to reflect on our relationship with the world and our place in the universe. Celebrating life, reconciling human beings with the living world, helping them to realise that they are themselves a ‘piece of nature’ – these seem to be the artist’s fundamental concerns today. The first monograph devoted to the sculptor, this one hundred-page publication offers an overview of her practice, a portrait by Joël Riff , curator of La Verrière, followed by an interview with art historian David Bronze. A double-exposure silver photographic report by Émile Barret takes us into the intimacy of the artist’s studio and living space.

The IN-SIDE collection, launched with this first issue, aims to promote young visual artists and offers an intimate encounter with the artist through a portrait, an interview, a biography, a selection of works and studio views.
