When we are looking at Sarah Moon’s blurred black and white photos or her pale color photos – often taken on Polaroid film – we are drawn into a realm of dreams, myths and fears. At the same time, her works allude to celestial ideals, unknown landscapes and enchanted cities. Her portraits of girls and women, especially in her fashion images, seem to give a glimpse of timelessness.
