The catalog of David Hockney’s latest exhibition. Another exhibition! Yes, luckily Hockney, over 83, continues to produce, all the time, indefinitely, and we thank him for that. For over sixty years, he has studied his surroundings and the world he lives in, testing new mediums and doing new things. Artist with insatiable curiosity, he paints in 2020 the arrival of spring in his Norman garden, and this on his iPad, using this little concentrate of technology as yet another means of translation for his eye, and brings us generous images and players, on a classic theme. Despite the coincidence with the arrival of the Covid and containment, Hockney was able to capture the unstoppable nature, because as he said: “Spring cannot be canceled”.
