Erik Dhont Architectes Paysagistes, Projets 1999-2020
Twenty years after his last monograph, Erik Dhont (*1962, Anderlecht) finally unveils in this book his landscape creations. Designed for private gardens, semi-public sites or public spaces, they redefine the many variations of nature. An invitation to travel, they transport us to the four corners of the planet : from the camellias alleys of Brabant Wallon to the green caves of rock plants overlooking the sea on the Côte-d’Azur, to the plums in bloom and monumental topiaries on the shores of Leman Lake, from the bromeliads, agaves and agapanthes in the Azores, to the evergreen oaks in California. This book, because many of Erik Dhont’s gardens are rarely accessible to the public, is an unexpected opportunity to discover these earthly paradises.
