“Éclôt is a book composed of floral paintings and photographs from the different landscapes and surroundings of the artist’s place of confinement. Started in mid-March, at the time of the first blossoms, perceived as a return to the sources, as an ode to nature. This work is a work on confinement, boredom, like a poetic ballad.

Maël Le Briand is a painter working with acrylic on different supports. Favouring large formats, he likes to detect singular signs in his daily environment. He constantly reworks them until he creates his own graphic forms.”
