Studying at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, he was quickly fascinated by the sculptural possibilities of concrete. In the wake of the post-war democratization of Belgium, Moeschal is best known to the general public for its monumental sculptures that are an integral part of the motorway network. His sculptures have become the landmarks of our monotonous highways. This catalogue consists of numerous plans, film fragments, models and interventions by contemporary artists.”
