Mixing collages and drawings, Guillaume Dégé’s works are dreamlike compositions between the real world and fantasized images. “Old engravings are combined with coloured pencils to form surreal exquisite cadavers: horses with the body of a flower, religious figures impregnated with watercolour, birds with noses or sex. “. This book was published in a trilingual version (French, English, Chinese) on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name held at the Semiose gallery between the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020.
