The reflection follows a historical thread that starts with the films shot by his family in 1932, it retraces the successful films that marked his formation, to finally focus on the newsreels and biopics, concomitant with the artist’s films made until 2018. Based on the technical evolution of cinema and media, the book analyses the national appropriations of the Guevara figure. The cross-cultural and methodological perspectives allow for a greatly renewed historical approach to a key figure of the past century, still reduced today to a rebellious or commercial outline.”
