It is almost by chance that Erstein and his dog Jory meet in Erzats, a mysterious hotel in Middeulöf Nowère. They set out to discover this seemingly obsolete place and meet the employees whose spirits also seem to be falling into obscurity. A hallucinated road movie that tells the story of the Roman vacations of its protagonist Erstein in a sort of dream Italy, populated by extraordinary inhabitants who do not hesitate to share their tragi-comic life stories with us. Margaux Meissonnier signs here her first graphic novel in which one feels the influence of Dali or De Chirico and whose texts recall the universe of Boris Vian but this time populated by characters of Raymond Carver.
