“Henry Brandt (1921-1998) was a major figure in Swiss cinema from the 1950s to the 1980s. His audio-visual installation “La Suisse s’interroge” at the 1964 National Exhibition left its mark on a whole generation.

On the occasion of the centenary of his birth, his cinematographic and photographic work is being highlighted through a series of events in Switzerland so that the work of this pioneer can finally be rediscovered and his work can once again take its place in Swiss cinema.”
