“The Lithographer is the little sister of The Typographer and continues the collection of children’s books about the book trade. We learn how Aloys Senefelder came up with the idea of drawing on stones and was almost crushed by one of them, we discover the chemistry of the repulsion between ink and water and the magic of printing on the press.

This book was created during an artist’s residence in the lithography workshop of the Musée du Pays d’Ussel. It was printed in Ussel and at Ensa Limoges.”
