La Maison de Rosalie

The title of this publication, La Maison de Rosalie, is taken from the sculpture of the same name, created by Valentine Schlegel in 1959, representing her childhood friend, Agnès Varda, who is pregnant with Rosalie. It was the latter who, in 2020, decided to bring together in this book the works of these two women who still intermingle in her home, as their lives as artists did. This book brings together a selection of photographs by Agnès Varda of works and portraits of the sculptor Valentine Schlegel.
