L'Atlas en mouvement

Mathieu Pernot delivers here a new vision of exile where “migrants” rediscover their identity and their humanity. Some of the works presented are in fact the result of direct collaboration with the exiles themselves: a Syrian astrophysicist reconstructs the celestial vault of his journey, a botanist comments on botanical plates of plants from around the Mediterranean, etc… In addition to the great diversity of documents (photos, notebooks, videos, engravings, drawings), there are two texts signed by renowned writers: the art historian Roland Recht and the historian Patrick Boucheron.
