This book contains the interviews of the American painter Luchita Hurtado with the critic and art historian Hans Ulrich Obrist. These interviews, which were initially quite formal, developed into a sincere friendship over time and thus provide an intimate portrait of the artist. The book traverses the life and work of Luchita Hurtado, revealing previously unpublished archives such as her self-portraits and drawings, and the photographic chronicles of her passionate commitment to her family and the natural world.
