Florian RodariManuel Müller: FECIT

An artist of duality and movement, Manuel Müller does not allow himself to be assigned a fixed place. His work consists of a grammar of signs, clues and symbols, which he articulates in marble or wood, his favourite material. His work, which is far removed from contemporary aesthetics, and his self-taught career bring him closer to outsider art, without completely linking him to it.
After a first monograph published in 2012 presenting his sculpture, FECIT presents the entirety of Manuel Müller’s work engraved between 1971 and 2021. This bilingual publication contains about one hundred and fifty reproductions, accompanied by four texts (fr/all) by Florian Rodari, Bertrand Schmid, Monika Jagfeld and Rainer Michael Mason.
