Claudio BeorchiaSaintscapes - Views of Lombardy

What do Saints see? What do they observe as they gaze from their shrines ? This is the question the visual artist Claudio Beorchia asked the residents of Lombardy. The main task was simple: to photograph what the saints look at, putting the camera at their eye level, photograph the aedicule itself, mark its position, add a title and a description. The result is a poetic book, where the reader is given the privilege of seeing, for once, the Saints’ point of view!
