Walter R. StahelThe Circular Economy, A User's guide
Walter Stahel is a pioneer in the concept of circular economy. Trained as architect, he has advocated since the 1970s the return to production methods that make it possible to extend the life of objects, requiring little energy and resources but a lot of labour. Most of his books, rich in virtuous examples but often written as economic treatises, are not easily accessible. In is not the case of this book, published in 2019. It summarizes Stahel’s main recommendations for a circular economy. The book is aimed at public authorities, industrialists and, more broadly, all those who wish to play a role in this transition towards circularity.
