Valentine Schlegel : L'art Au Quotidien

In summer 2023, the Musée Fabre is planning an exhibition on Valentine Schlegel from Sét in the Hôtel de Cabrières-Sabatier d’Espeyran, the Musée Fabre’s decorative arts department. The works of this ceramist, a creator of everyday objects and also a teacher who initiated the first modelling workshops for young people at the Arts Décoratifs, will interact with the period décor of the town house. The exhibition will be based around a selection of objects, ceramics and models of the fireplaces that made her a success, showing the diversity of her production, set against her inspirational collections and the photographs that show her at work.
