Thursday 23 June from 6 to 9 pm, come and meet Gwénola Carrère and discover her book Extra-végétalia at Peinture Fraîche. The artist will also exhibit some of his original plates in the window of the bookshop from 23 to 25 June.

The Peinture Fraîche team is pleased to welcome Hélène Moreau for the launch of her collection entitled Le Bruit de l’échantillonneuse – partition de lecture, on Thursday 16 June from 6 to 9 pm. At around 7pm, the artist will put these reading scores into action through a performance and a reading of an extract from the book.
Le Bruit de l’échantillonneuse – partition de lecture by Hélène Moreau gathers visual assemblages as well as textual collages made since 2017 during reading sessions organized during the exhibition cycle. Through a subtle montage of excerpts from literary texts summoning construction, gesture and matter, the artist elaborates a device intended for different types of reading: public or private, group or solo, aloud or silent, while offering an insight into the sources and ramifications of her practice that allows the imaginary of her plastic proposals to unfold.
