FéminiSpunk is a Fifi Brindacier-like fabulation. It tells the story, underground and infectious, of little girls who chose to be pirates rather than well-bred ladies. Unwanted desires, we are smugglers. This is our political fiction, the narrative that allows the inner riot to transform the world into a playground. To the logic of power, we oppose the relationship of forces. We prefer contagion to cooptation. To identities, we respond with affinities. Between a militant desexualisation and a pansexuality of the azimuths, here, we call “girl” any person who dynamites the categories of the universal standard: chick, queer, butch, trans, queen, drag, fem, witch, sista, freak… Here, nothing is true, but everything is possible. Against the white neoliberal feminist masquerade, FéminiSpunk relies on the porosity of the imaginary, the complicity of intersections, and fabricates a theory of the nose. Irredeemable!
Christine Aventin is a slightly awkward girl – a frustrated writer.
