How to buy a book from Peinture Fraîche webshop ?
Registering is not mandatory, you may buy books from our online shop as a guest. But if you do register, our system will be able to retrieve your delivery and personal data next time you shop from www.peinture-fraiche.be, and make things easier for you.
To buy items from our webshop, just place the books you wish to purchase in the cart and follow the steps indicated on your cart screen at the right side of the page.
If you cannot find an item you’re looking for on our page, send us an e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. We will get back to you swiftly.
How can I pay for my purchased items ?
You can pay using Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Bancontact or PayPal.
Is it safe to pay with my credit card on www.peinture-fraiche.be ?
To ensure your safety we use a secure order form, which means that all content of the form is encrypted (coded to unrecognizable characters). No external parties will be able to access the information you share when ordering books from our webshop.
Can I buy a book online as a gift and have it delivered to someone else ?
Absolutely, we encourage generosity. When proceeding to payment click the box «it’s a gift », and type a personal note for us to print on a Peinture Fraîche postcard that will be added to the parcel. The book(s) will be wrapped as a gift. Please make sure to select « deliver to a different address » after you add your billing details (if relevant). You’ll also have the option to add the e-mail address of the recipient, and they will be notified throughout the delivery process.
Please note that we cannot ship books from a single order to different addresses. If you are buying more than one book, and would like for only a portion of the items ordered to be wrapped as a gift, that is fine. But all the items bought will need to be sent to a same address. If you wish to send the purchased books to different addresses, you will need to order and pay for them separately.
Can I have a receipt?
Yes. When you fill in your details on the webshop page, you have the option to provide your company name and VAT number. We’ll use this information to create an invoice which will be added to your parcel.
Shipping and return
Do you deliver all over the world ?
Currently we only deliver within the European Union, UK, Switzerland and Norway.
How much does the delivery cost ?
The delivery cost depends on the destination of your parcel.
- Belgium : for deliveries in Belgium, a fixed delivery fee of €8,50 is charged (regardless of the number of books ordered).
- EU, UK, Switzerland and Norway : the delivery fee will vary depending on the destination country and weight of your parcel. For a precise delivery quote, place the items you wish to order in your cart and proceed to payment. The delivery fee will be displayed before you are asked to confirm the purchase.
How will my parcel be delivered ?
If your delivery destination is within the city of Brussels, your book(s) will be delivered by bike by our wonderful partner Hush Rush. Please ensure to provide instructions for the delivery team to help them deliver your parcel as efficiently as possible. When ordering online, you’ll have the possibility to share details with the courier team such as your mobile number, name of a neighbor to whom your parcel could be delivered in case you’re not at home, the code of your building door, etc.
For deliveries elsewhere in Belgium and for international deliveries we work with the Belgian post service, Bpost.
When will my order be dispatched, and when will it be delivered?
We dispatch our orders on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- If your delivery address is in the city of Brussels, you’ll receive your parcel on the same day it has been dispatched.
- For elsewhere in Belgium, the delivery should take up to 48 hours after being dispatched.
- Deliveries abroad could take up to three days to reach you after the parcel is dispatched.
The above mentioned delivery timelines apply for books we have in our stock. Please note that our stock is a moving target, and that we rely on the editorial market supply chain. We might need to order your book from the publisher, which may imply a delivery delay. If that is the case, we will keep you informed by email about the expected delivery date.

Can I return an item ?
If your items have been damaged upon delivery, or if we ship you the wrong item, please contact us within 7 working days following the delivery date, and we will provide you with instructions to return it free of costs. The items must be returned following the instructions provided to you by e-mail.
